Shelters of Saratoga - http://www.sheltersofsaratoga.org/ - The only homeless shelter in Saratoga, Washington, and Warren Counties

CAPTAIN Youth and Family Services - http://www.captainyfs.com/ - Operates a youth shelter and provides other services

Birthright of Saratoga - 885-4117. 24-hour hotline: 1-800-550-4900. - This crisis pregnancy service offers free and confidential pregnancy tests, maternity and baby clothes, layettes, medical referrals and emergency shelter. 

Saratoga Economic Opportunity Council - http://www.saratogaeoc.org/ - Runs a daily lunch soup kitchen as well as many other community services

Saratoga Mentoring - http://www.saratogamentoring.org/ - The Saratoga Mentoring Program matches caring adult volunteers with children from single parent families. Mentors and kids spend a few hours together on a regular basis, building a friendship and having fun. Mentors are there to listen, guide and be a friend.

Big Brother Big Sister of the Capital Region - http://www.bbbscr.org/ - Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region helps children reach their potential by providing them with one-to-one mentoring relationships with community volunteers.  Our volunteers (Bigs) share time, encouragement and experiences that brighten children's futures as well as their days.

The Christian and Missionary Alliance
 does not require its missionaries to raise their own support. Instead, missionaries and their ministries are financed through what we call The Great Commission Fund (GCF).
