Here at New Life, We believe that Small Groups are vital to our growth as Christians.

Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Small Groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you. Each small group at New Life looks a little bit different and reflects the personalities and passions of the people in them. Still, they all have the same commitment to bring people together and help each person grow in their relationship with God. Any book being used during the study will be available at New Life for a discounted price.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • At New Life, Small Groups are about community. They’re environments for you to grow in your walk with Christ, to build relationships with others, to be cared for and to use your spiritual gifts. Small Groups set us up to do life together and grow in our faith.

  • Small groups are typically around six to ten people — in a similar stage of life or with a common interest — who gather together once a week in homes, at the church or other places in the community. You’ll share what God is teaching you through the selected study and challenge each other to dig deeper in God’s Word and pray for each other.

  • We desire to see you grow closer to Christ and find others to walk alongside you to help challenge and encourage you. We try to make joining a group simple. We will have sign-ups posted during service and on our website starting in October 2024.

  • The Chandlers are hosting a marriage group!

    Discover a new perspective on marriage with the “5 Days to a New Marriage” small group. This group is designed for couples seeking to strengthen their marriage, appreciate each other’s unique skills and gifts, practice forgiveness, and create a shared vision for their marriage and family.

    The “5 Days to a New Marriage” book is filled with real-life case examples, practical exercises, and scriptural integration, making it an ideal resource for couples at any stage of their relationship. Whether looking for direction, renewal, or deeper connection, this group offers a supportive environment to grow together.

    The group will meet 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, (Skip 11/2), 11/9, 11/16, 11/23 and

    11/30. It important that couples attend every session.

    Change that lasts a lifetime begins with “Days to a New Marriage” Reserve your spot and take the first step toward a stronger, more fulfilling marriage.

    Group Size: Limited to four couples and cost is $40 per couple to cover the books.

  • An adult ladies small group focused on middle aged and retired women. This group meets weekly at the New Life Church Facilities.

  • Pastor Nathan and Jacque Detweiler are hosting a small group at their home weekly on Tuesday evenings. No childcare provided, but children are welcome.

  • The Lapp family are hosting a small group at their home on Tuesday evenings. No childcare offered, but children are welcome. Please note that the hosting house will rotate based on the accessibility of the members of the group as it develops.

  • The Jenks family is facilitating an adult’s small group. This group follows the school schedule, it meets most weeks at the New Life Church Facility. Youth Group is also on the same night so families with youth are welcome! Childcare is not available, but all ages are welcome.
